Accounting Graduate Trainee Job Advert

Reporting To: Finance Manager

Job Description

• Maintaining orderly accounting filing system
• Follow accounting policies and procedures
• Stock management
• Creditors, receivables, and bank reconciliations
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Finance Manager
• Month-end accounting procedures
• Raising payment vouchers and initiating payments
• Processing invoices, receipts, and journals in the system
• Maintaining asset register
• Processing payroll journals and payroll related payments
• Preparing statutory returns
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Candidate Specifications

Education Level: Accounting Degree

Software: Accounting software (Pastel/Navision is an advantage), Microsoft Office

Knowledge of: Financial and Management Accounting

Other requirements: Experience in Aquaculture is an added advantage

Ability to: Manage time well and communicate effectively
