Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia is a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, the eighth-largest Coca-Cola bottling partner worldwide by revenue and the biggest on the African continent. Our Office currently has the following opportunity available for a dynamic individual with energy and initiative, keen to impact from the outset.

We are inviting applications from young ambitious and highly motivated graduates to undergo an intensive graduate training program.  The Graduate Trainee Program is designed to give successful graduates hands-on experience in Manufacturing. The candidates will be exposed to learning opportunities to build their competencies, skills and knowledge in Manufacturing.

Key Duties & Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Graduate Trainee, you’ll rotate through various functions, gaining hands-on experience across the manufacturing landscape such as:

1. Business Strategy Support:

    • Understand and align with the CCBZ business strategy.
    • Contribute to strategic discussions and initiatives.

2. Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Compliance:

    • Adhere to legal requirements related to safety, health, and the environment.
    • Champion safety practices within the manufacturing environment.

3. Plant Hygiene and Housekeeping:

    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the plant.
    • Ensure a safe and organised work environment.

4. Supply Chain Knowledge and Implementation:

    • Acquire knowledge of the CCBZ Supply Chain Way.
    • Collaborate with supply chain teams to drive efficiency.

5. Production:

    • Grasp the intricacies of production processes (Syrup Room, Back-End, Packaging, and Utilities).
    • Understand machine and equipment layout of a Packaging line in terms of designoperation and purpose according to best Packaging practice.
    • Coordinate and monitor these processes for optimal performance.

 6. Asset Care:

    • Ensure proper asset care practices are followed.
    • Understand and ensure Asset Care implementation and Management is supported.

7. Automation:

    • Ensure that the different types of Automation and Control systems that are used in process control in the Plant are understood.

8. Raw Materials:

    • Understand flow of information on raw materials acquisitionactual raw materials, systems and procedures utilized along every step.

9. Quality Management:

    • Ensure CCBZ Quality Management System is understood and supported.

10.Utilities and Effluent Control:

    • Understand how utilities (Steam, Compressed Air, CO2, water, and Electrical power) are produced and supplied.
    • Ensure effective effluent control measures.

11. Innovation and Financial Systems:

    • Explore innovation strategies related to new product development.
    • Acquire knowledge of financial systems within CCBZ.
Skills, Experience & Education  


  • Bachelor’s degree in a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Production Management or a related field with a merit/distinction.
  • Member of EIZ.
  • Good MS office skills.


  • Less than 1 year of job experience.
  • Graduated with a university degree within the last 18 months
  • Completed high school in or after 2017.


  • Business acumen.

  • Highly professional standards of integrity and customer service.
  • High energy levels, self-motivated and displays initiative
