Job Title: Forensic Manager
This function is responsible for leading and conducting investigations into company frauds. The function is further responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, investigating incidents, and implementing proactive measures to safeguard the bank against digital fraud threats.
Under the supervision of the Head Internal Audit and Forensics, below are the Key Job Responsibilities
- Review business environment and develop business plans to support fraud prevention and detection in MTN Zambia
- Lead and execute investigations into fraud incidents;
- Employ advanced forensic techniques and IT knowledge to collect and analyze evidence;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the scope and impact of fraud incidents;
- Pursue fraud recoveries arising from investigations as well as insurance claims;
- Periodically review the adequacy of tools, methodologies, procedures and processes used in carrying out forensic audit tasks with a view to enhancing the performance of the team and eliminate fraud;
- Document and communicate investigation findings to management;
- Utilize cutting-edge forensic tools and methodologies to collect, preserve, and analyze evidence;
- Ensure the secure handling of digital evidence in a legally admissible manner;
- Maintain knowledge of emerging forensic technologies and cyber threats;
- Coordinate Incident Response;
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff on cyber fraud prevention and detection;
- Coach and train direct reports to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the department, awareness of set targets/requirements and regularly review their training needs;
- Prepare detailed investigation reports, case summaries, and forensic examination reports;
- Ensure all findings, conclusions, and recommendations are well-documented and accessible;
- Collaborate with legal teams and law enforcement agencies as required;
- Be able to conduct investigations / fraud risk assessment out of country at the Group Forensic or other Opcos request.
- Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s Degree will be added advantage;
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or similar certifications;
- Minimum of ten (5) years practical experience in Fraud and Forensic Management;
- Proficiency in digital forensic tools, such as EnCase, FTK, or similar;
- Strong knowledge of IT security, cyber threats, and incident response;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
