About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of driver management and performance. The successful candidate will monitor operational KPIs, ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards, support driver development, and uphold the highest levels of safety and efficiency within the transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and set driver KPIs, including transit times, speed violations, and convoy management.
- Manage driver profiles and ensure compliance with company SOPs, RTSA regulations, and cross-border requirements.
- Supervise driver behavior and ensure all training aligns with company standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver records.
- Implement effective driver discipline and performance monitoring systems.
- Support driver retention initiatives and promote engagement.
- Uphold high safety standards across all driver operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven work experience in logistics or fleet management, including team supervision.
- Minimum of a Diploma in Logistics or a related field.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Transport and Logistics.
- Previous experience as a truck driver will be an added advantage.
- Must be 30 years or older.
