The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) is a Statutory Body established under the Tourism and Hospitality Act No. 13 of 2015. The Act mandates the Zambia Tourism Agency to effectively market and promote Zambia as a tourism and travel destination of choice and to regulate the tourism industry.
VACANCIES
The Zambia Tourism Agency wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following vacant positions:
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant is responsible for the administrative and secretarial services in order to facilitate smooth operations for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Ensures timely availability of secretarial services in order to enhance operations of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
- Records accurately and timely appointments for the Chief Executive Officer in order to facilitate decision making.
- Attends to and makes various communication timely in order to facilitate smooth operation of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
- Ensures effective maintenance of the CEO’s Office and equipment in order to enhance conducive working environment.
- Coordinates effectively local and international travel arrangements for the CEO and VIPs in order to ensure they meet official obligations.
- Takes accurately dictation in order to facilitate transcribing into mailable correspondence and documents.
- Undertakes effectively the provision and maintenance of registry services in order to enhance storage, security and retrieval of information.
- Attends timely to visitors in order to enhance the image of the Office of the CEO
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in office management or equivalent Certificate in Shorthand (120 and Typing 65 WPM) 4 years’ relevant experience
- Able to write technical and analytical report Computer literate
- Interpersonal skills
