Pension and Insurance Authority
The Pensions and Insurance Authority (“the Authority”) is the regulatory and supervisory authority for the pensions and insurance industries in Zambia as provided for in the Pension Scheme Regulations Act No.28 of 1996 (as amended) and the Insurance Act No. 38 of 2021. The Authority supervises and regulates entities operating in the pensions and insurance market. These include insurance companies, reinsurance companies, insurance intermediaries, pension schemes, pension fund managers and pension fund administrators.
The Authority hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Driver.
Overall Responsibilities: –
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Officer, the Driver will be responsible for driving the Authority vehicles in order to transport staff and equipment/materials as directed by the supervisor safely.
Specific Duties: –
- Transport people and deliver equipment, material and mail while observing driving and safety rules.
- Carries out regular checks on motor vehicle for oil, water, tyre pressure and any visible defects.
- Maintain transport records as per procedure and compile incident and regular reports
- Adheres to maintenance schedule for vehicles and ensures that vehicles are insured and road worthy.
- Undertakes minor repairs to motor vehicle as well as clean and ensure high standard of cleanliness of vehicle.
Requirements: –
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Valid PSV Driving license
- Five (5) years driving experience.
