As the appointed Caterpillar dealer in the region, Barloworld Equipment supplies equipment, parts and service to customers in the mining, construction, handling, agricultural and energy industries.

Barloworld Equipment Zambia Limited is looking for a suitably qualified individual to fill the position below:

DRIVER – KITWE

A highly motivated individual is sought to fill the role of DRIVER (x1) to be based in KITWE.

General purpose of the job

To effectively deliver and collect documentation, deposit cheques, transport visitors and employees between airports, offices and customer sites.

Reporting to

Administration Coordinator.

Key Outputs and Accountabilities:

• Conduct reliable documents and general goods collection and delivery;
• Conduct banking and other administrative related travel;
• Transport visitors and Employees between airports, offices and customer sites;
• Conduct appropriate vehicle maintenance and willing compliance with ad hoc requests;
• Effective self-management and performance ownership.

Minimum required qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate;
• Able to read and write in English. Computer literacy will be an added advantage;;
• A valid Drivers licence without restrictions, PSV driver’s licence is an advantage;
• Not less than two (02) years proven work experience;
• Basic mechanical skills;
• Ability to work long hours;
• No criminal record;
