Depot Yard Controller

Spectra Oil Corporation is seeking a Depot Yard Controller to join our team in Lusaka. This critical role ensures seamless stock management, smooth inter-depot transfers, and optimal depot operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, ensure timely replenishments, and oversee inter-depot transfers.
• Product Handling: Coordinate the receipt, stacking, and dispatch of products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to documentation.
• Quality Control: Monitor stock conditions, prevent expiry through proper rotation, and report damaged/defective products.
• Daily Operations: Lead daily cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and depot housekeeping to maintain a safe and organised yard.
• Reporting: Generate reports on slow-moving or obsolete stock and propose improvements for operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Education: Degree in Engineering or business-related field.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and sound judgment.
• Team player with adaptability and commercial awareness.
• Experience: Prior experience in inventory management or logistics is an advantage.
