Depot Operative

Spectra Oil Corporation is seeking a dedicated Depot Operative to support the smooth daily operation of our depot facility in Kalumbila. Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Cleanliness: Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning and tidying the depot, sales offices, canteen, kitchen, and bathroom areas.
• Canteen Management: Procure supplies within budget, maintain accurate purchase records, adhere to the weekly menu, and serve meals promptly during designated hours.
• Kitchen & Equipment Care: Ensure all kitchen utensils and equipment are clean and functional, reporting any faults immediately.
• Warehouse Support: Assist the forklift driver with assembling, arranging, loading, offloading, and stacking products.
• General Assistance: Perform messenger duties and other general tasks as directed to support depot operations.
• Compliance: Accurately record canteen purchases and follow all company protocols and safety procedures.

 

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Education: General Certificate of Education (Grade 12) is desirable.

 

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning/janitorial work.
• Experience in basic kitchen/canteen assistance and food handling.
• Previous involvement in warehouse/logistics support is an advantage.
• Familiarity with procurement or stock recording is beneficial.

 

Skills:

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation protocols.
• Basic cooking and meal preparation skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks.
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.
