Purpose of The Role:
This job exists to add value to the company through the provision of business support to all functions of ABC Auctions and serve as the face of the company. The role requires Customer Care agents to provide information about the company’s products and services, address any customer concerns as well as assisting customers with their needs

Reporting Structure:

  • Reporting to: Customer Care Supervisor
  • Interacts with: Managers/Supervisors/ All Departments/ Customers.

Supervisory Controls:

The Position is Supervised through:

  • Daily Morning briefings
  • Daily tracking sheet
  • Monthly reports
  • Performance appraisals

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for handling all incoming Communication channels including email, WhatsApp, Social Media, Phone calls and more.
  • Responsible for greeting and assisting all walk-ins
  • Records all conversations in customer profiles or lot profiles for customer tracking.
  • Communicates with all customers with kindness, patience and empathy
  • Assist customers in opening/managing customer accounts
  • Managers outgoing calls to customers as guided by the customer care supervisor
  • Stays up to date with new company process developments to ensure accurate and prompt responses to all enquiries
  • Adheres to the cash Handling Manual and checklist provided

Minimum Hiring Standards:

  • Call Centre experience
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Computer knowledge
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Zendesk Knowledge (added advantage)
