Job Description
Operational Credit support to Corporate Bank with full accountability for the credit analysis process across client portfolios.

The role implies to assess and make decisions about customer credit applications using a range of criteria including purpose of applications, credit viability, customer payment history and customer credit worthiness

CREDIT MANAGEMENT

  • Accountable for the review, structuring and approval of credit facilities (Product Programs and Credit Applications) together with the Credit Committees to ensure appropriate credit decision by the Head of Department.
  • Responsible for credit related advice and guidance on the Corporate Business
  • Review Corporate bank portfolio and ensure that a maximum NPL of 3% of portfolio and 1% of portfolio revenues is maintained.
  • Proactively research market and client related aspects and communicate information obtained through Market Intelligence Reports etc. to pre-empt business risks and opportunities

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Achieve minimum customer service rating of ‘very satisfied’
  • Ensure timely resolution of complaints and processing of instructions
  • In conjunction with Relationship Officer, develop and maintain credible relationships with clients at appropriate levels through reliable, proactive service delivery and the application of specialist knowledge.

RISK AND COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure compliance with all Group and regulatory policies and laws.
  • Ensure credit facilities are structured in compliance with Group credit and other policies.
  • Achieve ARR rating of ‘Acceptable’.
