Shaann Carriers, a leading logistics and transport company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate must be proactive, analytical, and experienced in fast-paced operational environments.
Key Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in cost accounting.
• FMCG and Transport industry experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of cost control, variance analysis, budgeting, stock management, and operational costing.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Professional qualification (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse, monitor, and report on operational and transport-related costs.
• Conduct monthly cost variance analysis and advise management on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate cost records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Work closely with operations, procurement, and workshop teams to ensure accurate cost allocations.
• Review stock movements, fuel usage, spares, and other cost drivers.
