Job Title: Computer Hardware and Software Technician
Location: Kitwe and Lusaka
Sbeity Computer Limited is a reputable IT services provider company known for delivering high-quality solutions to businesses of all sizes. We are currently seeking a skilled Computer Hardware and Software Technician to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Hardware Installation and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware components including processors, memory, storage devices, graphics cards, etc.
Conduct regular maintenance and preventive measures on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
Software Installation and Configuration:
Install, update, and configure operating systems, software applications, and drivers.
Provide technical support for software-related issues and ensure compatibility with hardware components.
Network Setup and Configuration:
Diagnose and Resolve Technical Issues:
perform diagnostic tests to identify hardware and software issues and implement appropriate fixes.
Virus and Malware Protection:
Install, update, and manage antivirus and anti-malware programs to safeguard against security threats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Hardware and Software Technician or similar role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and proficiency in software installations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent is a plus.
