Position: Civil Projects Manager/Engineer

A growing and reputable construction and engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Projects Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction projects delivered within mining environments, with proven ability to manage clients, teams, and project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise civil construction projects in mining operations.
- Prepare detailed project programs, schedules, and execution plans.
- Plan labour, equipment, tools, and materials for each project phase.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly project updates to clients.
- Maintain excellent client liaison and ensure clear communication channels.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines to ensure delivery within budget.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers to achieve project targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Construction management, Quantity surveying or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil works within a mining environment.
- Demonstrated success in delivering mining projects on time and within budget.
- Strong proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills and client-handling abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License (able to drive manual vehicles).
- Sober-minded, disciplined, and results-driven.
- Engineering registration with EIZ or Relevant professional Body.
