Catering Manager


What we are looking for?

You will oversee all catering operations in our company. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events, managing budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to lead a team of catering staff and maintain high standards of quality and service.

  • Plan, organize and manage catering events
  • Coordinate with clients to determine event details, including menu, budget, and timeline
  • Manage catering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensure high-quality food and service is provided to guests
  • Order and manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage event budgets and financial reports
  • Resolve any issues or complaints that arise during events

For optimum operational efficiently, you will be expected to possess the following;

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Experience in catering or food service industry
  • Ability to remain calm and make rapid decisions in challenging situations
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Atleast 4 management experience in catering or food service industry
  • Certification in catering management, hospitality, culinary management or similar field may be preferred.
  • Experience in menu planning and recipe development
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
