Mission of the role:

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead sales and market growth for URE Capital Equipment products within the ZMB Customer Centres. The role focuses on achieving targets in sales, profitability, market share, and contribution. You will also play a key role in fostering collaboration between Customer Centres (CC) and Product Companies (PC), while providing expert support to customers on mining-related applications and projects.

Your mission:

  • Drive Market Growth: Support and develop the Zambian mining industry for URE Capital Equipment, while positioning Epiroc as the leading solutions provider.
  • Sales & Strategy Execution: Provide daily commercial sales support, define market strategies, and achieve targets for market share and gross profit.
  • Forecasting & Financial Planning: Lead sales forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory management, and financial solutions to optimize profitability and working capital.
  • Customer Engagement: Coordinate customer visits, deliver impactful marketing presentations, and ensure seamless order-to-delivery processes with logistics.
  • Product & Portfolio Development: Standardize machine configurations, enhance customer value offerings, and contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct industry requirement meetings, analyze market share data, and advise on competitor activities to inform strategic actions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Parts & Service, Product Companies, and participate in Business Planning Meetings and special projects.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ work experience from international marketing in the mining industry
  • University degree, preferably in business or engineering or have acquired similar competence through work experience.
  • Good knowledge of English, verbally and in writing communication skills is essential.
  • Good understanding of Global Mining Business and experience from CC & PC is a plus
  • Comply with the Policy and documents of the Integrated Management and Quality System
  • Know and respect the spreadsheets of aspects, impacts, dangers and risks
  • Keep up to date with the procedures and instructions applicable to your routine.
