Mission

 

  • To achieve the ZMB Customer Centres targets in sales, profitability, market contribution and market share targets for URE Capital Equipment products
  • To facilitate a smooth co-operation between CC and PC
  • To assist Customer with Application related Mining projects

Core responsibilities

  • Support, motivate and develop the Zambian Mining Industry for URE Capital Equipment
  • Daily commercial sales support
  • Define Market strategies for Epiroc Zambia Customer Centre
  • Achieve set targets set on Market Shares and Gross Profit in Epiroc Zambia
  • Zambia Mining Industry Requirement Prognosis meetings
  • Sales and Gross Profit forecasts
  • Sales targets
  • Pricing & Pricing strategies for Epiroc Zambia
  • Consolidated Gross Profit; MaCo; Market Efficiency
  • Machine inventories. Consignment stock; Net working Capital
  • Preparation of relevant sales and marketing material.
  • Initiate, define and carry out relevant marketing presentations for Customers
  • Order processing / Contract review MO process
  • Coordinate, plan, arrange and participate in customer visits
  • Seamless interaction with Logistics to achieve continuous improvements in the customer Orders to Delivery process
  • Strive to standardize LHD, TME and Infrastructure machines configuration as much as possible without sacrificing market share ambitions
  • Ensure that added customer value in our products always gives an improved price
  • Development & offering of financing solutions – Epiroc Financial Solutions
  • Substantially improved process for determining our market share situation locally and globally with high accuracy – use this information to determine focused strategies and actions for market with growth potential
  • Positioning and promotion of Epiroc as the leading and most competent package supplier in the industry
  • Support and actively contribute to the development of URE and Automation / Digitalization Portfolio Products
  • Coordinate activities with Epiroc Parts and Service
  • Advise the PC with competitors’ information.
  • Prepare, submit and attend Business Planning Meetings – BPM
  • Special assignments and projects
Competences, skills and experience
  • Minimum 5+ years’ work experience from international marketing in the mining industry
  • University degree, preferably in business or engineering or have acquired similar competence through work experience.
  • Good knowledge of English, verbally and in writing communication skills is essential.
  • Good understanding of Global Mining Business and experience from CC & PC is a plus
  • Comply with the Policy and documents of the Integrated Management and Quality System
  • Know and respect the spreadsheets of aspects, impacts, dangers and risks
  • Keep up to date with the procedures and instructions applicable to your routine.
