Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Analyze customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to inform strategic decision-making.

Strategy Development:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with overall corporate goals.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify and cultivate new business leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and partnerships.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.

Proposal Development and Presentation:

  • Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of the organization’s products or services.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.
  • Coordinate efforts to meet client expectations and deliver exceptional service.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for product/service expansion.
  • Develop entry strategies and execute plans for entering new markets.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on progress and results.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
