Business Development and Technical Services Manager

  • Profiling & Prospecting of Key Projects
  • Ensure that Dangote Cement Products are specified in all projects.
  • Ensure that Dangote Cement is used on identified Projects (shoot for high strike rate)
  • Joint Closing of Sales on identified Projects
  • Ensuring that Project pipeline remains wet, always
  • Prepare & present 2-3years Projects over view/horizon
  • Supervise and coordinate technical sales service staff to ensure proper & timely resolution of company/client problems
  • Provide hands-on training to technical service staff to ensure a competent and effective workforce
  • Liaise with Regional sales managers and other departmental heads to develop tactical plans for joint project delivery
  • Monitor, Mentor and motivate Technical Sales staff to deliver timely and high quality services to customers
  • Present Monthly reports of work operations to company management in order to provide information useful in taking key business decisions
  • Recommend/advise appropriate products for a Project to Project Owners
  • Manage Block Makers & Stone Pavers Market Segment
  • Organize professional trainings on Concrete Application at Project Sites for Project participants
  • Ensure technical operators comply with set health/safety policies and procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing or related field
  • Technical knowledge & Experience in Building Construction, with some experiences in Key Account Sales, Marketing or related field
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills

Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft office suits and SAP applications.
