Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Biomedical Engineer at Zamedi Diagnostics & Instruments. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues. You will also be involved in the installation and calibration of equipment, as well as conducting preventive maintenance tasks. This role requires a combination of on-site work at our location in Lusaka and some remote work.
Qualifications
- Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering skills
- Experience in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of medical equipment and its operation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
