Associate

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate at Junelli & Co, Legal Practitioners located in Lusaka. The Associate will be responsible for conducting research, preparing legal documents and providing general legal support. The successful candidate will also collaborate with senior lawyers to develop legal strategies, and will assist with client meetings and negotiations.

Qualifications

• LLB or Bachelor’s in Law (LLB) or equivalent
• Registered with the Law Association of Zambia
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a private practice
• Demonstrated knowledge of Zambian law and the legal system
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
