On behalf of our esteemed client, a progressive organization specializing in the poultry business, we are recruiting an Assistant Sales Manager.

Job Summary:
The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales team’s performance, ensuring that targets are met, and providing training and support to sales agents. The successful candidate will play a key role in motivating the team, tracking sales activities, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor, and support sales agents to improve their skills and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions to boost performance and ensure alignment with company sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales agents’ performance and ensure that individual and team sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Implement performance improvement plans for underperforming agents.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to execute sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Ensure agents follow the set sales processes and strategies to maximize success.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues escalated by sales agents.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained across all sales interactions.
  • Foster a positive team environment by motivating and supporting sales agents.
  • Organize team-building activities to boost morale and ensure high team performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales management or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
  • Proficiency in sales reporting and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of relevant software (e.g., CRM systems) is an added advantage.
