SUNDA INDUSTRIAL ZAMBIA is looking for an ASSISTANT CHEF
JOB PURPOSE
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful catering team in our company. We are looking for an experienced chef to overseeing the day to day running of the kitchen, including food preparation, cleaning the equipment, checking supplies.
QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING
- Certificate/Diploma in Food Production is desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
EXPERIENCE
- Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALITIES
- Confidence in spoken and written English
- Good leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Excellent time management abilities
- Ability and willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Willingness to work unsociable hours
