Reporting to the Accountant, the job holder will handle clerical finance and accounting work and basic reports to ensure business continuity.
Key Attributes & Skills
a) Maintains an efficient filing system for all accounting documents and relevant reports.
b) Assist the Accountant to adhere to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
c) Ensures complete documentations prior to raising payment requests.
d) Ensure complete and timely processing of accounting journals in line with processes and accounting principles.
e) Complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
f) Monitor Budget utilization.
g) Safe custody of petty cash and utilization in line with company policy and procedures.
h) Management and maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register and participate in the period fixed assets verification exercise.
i) Participate in internal and external audit processes by providing information as required.
Qualifications & Experience
a) Grade 12 School Certificate with at least a credit in English and Mathematics.
b) Diploma in Accountancy; ACCA/ ZICA/ CIMA Level 2 or equivalent.
c) At least 2 years work experience in Finance/ Accounting or related field will be an added advantage.
