Agronomist

As a recruitment consultant , I am looking for a Zambian crop scientist on behalf of our client. Our client is an international company who is looking for agronomist who has working knowledge of plant nutrition and crop health. The ideal candidates also need sales experience with being excellent at sales forecasting, client relationships and expanding the company’s client base. Responsibilities / Experience required :

• At least 5 years of agronomic experience.
• A degree in the relevant field.
• Agronomic skills and expertise. Being able to evaluate results and progress of the farming community and advise accordingly.
• Lead the sales in commercial farming setting by forecasting as well as maintaining current relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best pricing, quality, and service.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ability to work independently.
