Kasenseli Gold Limited (KGL) was established on 9th December 2020. It is majority owned by Zambia Gold Company Limited (ZGCL) with 70% shareholding. Other shareholders are PCB Mining Limited with a shareholding of 12.5%, Kampoko Resource with a shareholding of 12.5%, and the Chief Chibwika Chiefdom Trust (on behalf of the Chief Chibwika Community) holding the remaining 5%.
The Company was established with the sole purpose to oversee the mining activities at the kasenseli Mine in Mwinilunga District
In order to achieve this mission, the Company invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who are innovative, energetic, and performance-driven to fill the following positions for Kasenseli Gold Limited.
Administrative Officer x1
Company: Kasenseli Gold Limited
Reports to: General Manager
To provide administrative and secretarial services support to the General Manager in order to assist the job holder to run the office smoothly.
a. Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including managing office stock by maintaining bin cards stock requisition, maintenance of records on Vehicles, this includes Mileage, Due dates for Road Licenses, Due dates for Road Fitness and Insurance, preparing regular reports on Vehicle Expenses for the fleet of vehicles. Arranging for Vehicle routine and regular maintenance by liaising with drivers and site managers. Liaising with maintenance companies to repair or replace damaged office equipment.
b. Ensures that Kasenseli Gold Company Mine Site’s assets are properly documented and maintained in order to enhance proper accountability of the same in liaison with the Risk and Auditing Department.
c. Set performance standards and supervises all subordinates staff and to ensure training of subordinates.
d. Liaise with Finance department to accelerate payments of incoming invoices and verify receipts for the goods and services.
e. Organize flights, transportation, and accommodation for company staff, traveling locally and abroad.
f. Support with the procurement of the services and products required by the organization such as ensuring the provision of adequate security in order to safeguard property for the Company in liaison with the Security Department, availability of refreshments, consumables and other goods and services.
g. Supervises effectively the maintenance of company assets and surroundings in order to ensure a conducive workplace environment
h. Preparation of Work Plans and Budget for the section.
Qualifications and experience
a) Full Grade 12 Certificate; Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent; Professional Membership.
b) Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience: Minimum of 5 years work experience at middle management in a busy environment.
c) Skill Specifications: Strong Communication and Management skills; Computer skills.
d) Other Attributes (Personality Traits): Adaptable; Well Organised.
e) Valid Drivers’ License
