Accounts Assistant

Dovecot College of Health Sciences

Dovecot College of Health Sciences is looking for an Accounts professional who would like to join our Team as an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be part of the Administrative Department and will be required to undertake the general related accounting duties.

Main duties to include clerical and basic accounting duties:
– Cash receipts and receipting
– Posting of payments to general ledgers
– Bank deposits and reconciliation
– Following up on payments
– Maintenance of daily cash receipts
– Assist in financial statement preparation and
– Running of Payroll


– Grade 12 certificate
– Diploma in Accountancy

– CA Zambia level II ACCA II

–  CIMA II or equivalent and

– At least Two Years of Working Experience
–  Knowledge of Accounting packages such as Pastel or QuickBooks will be an added advantage.
