Accountant/Lodge Manager

Qualified and experienced Accountant looking for a long term position that’s offering an opportunity to grow and flourish. You must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be confident in working autonomously when required.

This position will entail but not be limited to:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining the general ledger
  • Invoicing and receiving
  • Daily and weekly sales reports
  • Payroll
  • Reporting to the CEO and external accountants
  • Assisting with the completion of BAS’s
  • Taking phone queries from customers and suppliers
  • Uploading eft payments for authorization
  • Maintaining intracompany transactions
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work professionally under pressure and multi-task
  • The passion for providing every guest with a positive experience
  • Consistent pride in their grooming and presentation
  • Availability to work full time hours, morning, evening and weekend shifts
  • Knowledge Point of Sale and Hotel Reservation systems
  • Drivers/ Motor cycle license preferable


  • Diploma and Certificates a must
  • Familiar with Accounting Software e.g. Pastel, Quickbooks
  • Must be familiar with Zambian tax laws and requirements for business operations
