Job Title: Accountant Assistant
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with Management
- Create Purchase Orders for purchased items
- Stock counts, raising sales orders and invoicing
- Keeping accurate records of petty cash removed from cash float and reconciling receipts to cash taken
- Monthly cash and card payment reconciliation 100% accurate with no unaccounted-for payments
- Reconciliations of discrepancies in weekly and monthly stock take
Key Skills/Attributes
- Very good communication skills
- Punctuality is key
- Reliable and efficient
- Highly competent in MS Office, in particular, Word and Excel
- Possess an organized, methodical, and systematic approach to work
Qualifications
- Certificate in accounting, finance, or related field
- High-level understanding of bookkeeping and general financial management
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting
