We are looking for a vibrant and experienced person to fill the following position:


Core responsibilities

1. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting records
and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

2. To meet light deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and support to budget and forecast activities

Major duties

1. Preparation of Budgets

2. Perform monthly bank reconciliations

3. Prepare statutory returns

4. Prepare periodic cash flows and monitor accounts payable and receivable

5. Conduct periodic Fixed Assets verification 6. Any other duties that may be assigned to you


1. A Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA, CIMA qualification

2. Member of ZICA

3. Other financial management qualification will be an added advantage

4. The applicant should have at least 5 years’ experience in a busy accounting office

5. 3 years’ work experience with Pastel Accounting software

6. Experience in the Insurance industry will be an added advantage
