Job Title: Account Manager

This role requires a careful balance between the client’s needs, wants and priorities, and the agency’s bottom line. You will play a crucial role in client retention, bringing in new business, as well as how well we deliver projects.

Account Manager Job Role:
  • Ensuring clear understanding of the client’s business requirements and to translate this into clear deliverable objectives
  • Managing projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
  • Operating as the point of contact for assigned clients
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients
  • Ensuring clients receive requested services in a timely fashion
  • Communicating client needs and demands to team members to ensure consistent quality service
  • Forecasting and tracking client account metrics
  • Keeping records of client transactions
  • Servicing multiple clients concurrently
  • Assisting in developing markets for our clients’ brands
  • Identifying and seeking opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Focusing on growing market share and acquiring new markets through marketing activities
    Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Research and prepare insights about product/brand potentials
  • Building effective relationships with distributors and traders
  • Ensuring ideal shelf presence of all our clients’ brands
  • Monitoring current trade trends, analysing the data and developing proposals that will help gain market share
  • Delivering high standards of client satisfaction, measuring this through feedback, surveys, campaign evaluation and continuously adapting and adjusting approaches to benefit their needs
