Purpose
To implement and execute a sales strategy focused on servicing Foreign Exchange needs of both existing and new business clients to meet set profitability, turnover and client base targets
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum Qualification – Relevant Finance Degree
- Preferred Qualification – ACI Dealing Certificate or Post-graduate Qualification in Finance or Masters in Business Administration
- Experience – 3 to 5 years foreign exchange, money market products and services, team leadership and sales experience
- Additional Knowledge – An understanding of macro-economics and current economic trends and their effects on the business
- Knowledge of Risk Management, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Counterparty Risk and Credit Risk within a banking environment
- An understanding of Exchange Controls, Forward foreign exchange, Foreign exchange operations and Spot foreign exchange
- Stakeholder Management
- Marketing techniques i.e. how to win the confidence of clients and prospects
- An excellent working knowledge of treasury products
Deposits/arbitrage - Interest rate dynamics and interest rate products and other intermediate products
- Market ethics according to the FXGlobal Code

- Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets
- Manage the processes, structures, systems, and resources required to effectively service existing clients and acquire new clients
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Identify opportunities to expand customer base with potentially profitable customers

- Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives

- Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards
- Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
