IT Analyst – Information systems

The role involves maintaining the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by maintaining and operating a reliable information systems infrastructure that empowers users within the organization to achieve business goals.

The position will report to the IT Engineer – User Support Services.

Key Accountabilities

• Install, uninstall, configure and troubleshoot software and hardware systems, including new equipment, anti-virus programs, CRM programs, and other tools commonly used by the company’s team members.
• Schedule and carry out regular maintenance of network equipment and keep maintenance records.
• Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
• Participate in the implementation of IT projects as required.
• Manage assigned company resources in a prudent and cost-efficient manner.
• Help users set up conferences, projectors, PCs, and connect wireless and mobile devices to the network.
• Communicate with individuals by phone and email to solve technical problems.
• Act as technical contact for the maintenance of other office equipment including Inverter, battery bank, Air-conditioning, electrical and plumbing fittings.
• Undertake special assignments from time to time as required by users at the Lusaka office of a technical nature.
• Comply with company health, safety and environmental procedures and policies.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to have:

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecoms and Electronics, or equivalent.
• COMPTIA A+, CCNA Certifications are an added advantage.
• At least 1 year post-qualification experience.
