We are looking for an Electrical Field Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in our various Electrical Projects. As a Technician, you are expected to display good interpersonal skills as you will interact with various clients and are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems, and implement solutions to them.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, other safety and distribution components)
- Inspect, repair, and replace electrical components and equipment such as wiring, fixtures, insulated cables, and circuit breakers
- Installation of Backup Power systems like UPS, Inverters, Battery Modules and Solar Panels
- Perform general electrical maintenance and corrective/preventive maintenance on electrical systems, electrical panels, and circuits
- Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical system issues, safety hazards, and malfunctions
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Technical Diploma or Certification in Electrical or related field
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings, and schematics
- Can work independently and as part of a team environment
- 2 years of experience as an Electrical Field Technician or similar role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
