In this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure all technicians working in the mining Companies in Zambia completed the mandatory training. Supervise all facility/safety related concerns across all Cummins Zambia branches
- Consistently achieve positive results for all internal HSEM audits, prepared Cummins Zambia for ISO 45001 :2018 and ISO 14001;2015
- Quarterly field visit and inspection for all Cummins branches and meeting with the mining HSE team to ensure compliance with client expectations and requirements.
- Acquired EPA, Fire and factories permit for Zambia branch. Supervision of facilities works at sight (Constructions, electrical works, renovations, repairs, painting) in ensuring contractor meets all Cummins HSE expectations.
- Conduct passport to safety training with the support of the Regional Manager for all supervisors in Cummins Zambia.
- Meeting all regulatory requirements for all branches by ensuring timely renewal of all permits. Ensure all internal trainings and external trainings to meet HSE requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role the candidate will need the following:
- Effective communication skills to convey complex information to various stakeholders. Planning and prioritization abilities aligned with organizational goals.
- Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques to evaluate performance trends .
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Licenses and Certifications:
