Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on production equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to production teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and accidents.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in the food processing industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in mechanical skills, including the ability to perform maintenance and monitor service on production equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with previous experience leading teams in a production environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coordinate teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training in food processing, mechanical maintenance, or production management would be an asset.
