Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on production equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to production teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and accidents.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience in the food processing industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
• Proficiency in mechanical skills, including the ability to perform maintenance and monitor service on production equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with previous experience leading teams in a production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coordinate teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications or training in food processing, mechanical maintenance, or production management would be an asset.
