Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate transportation of goods, including scheduling shipments and selecting carriers.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Develop and implement logistics plans to support company objectives.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure alignment of logistics activities with overall business goals.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and carriers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
