Draftman

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather design specifications and requirements
• Create clear and accurate technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software
• Review and analyze rough sketches, drawings, and other design information to prepare detailed construction and manufacturing drawings
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to standards and specifications
• Make necessary modifications and revisions to drawings as requested
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of drawings
• Maintain a library of drawings, specifications, and other design documents
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD software and techniques

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD) to create technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, and mechanical drafting principles and techniques
• Experience in creating drawings for construction and manufacturing projects
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
