Indirect Sales Coordinator- Copperbelt

This function is responsible for contributing to the achievement of targets for revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the Segment by executing customer acquisition and retention plans.

Under the supervision of the SME Manager Indirect Sales, below are the Key Job Responsibilities

Provides inputs for the development of the MTN SME universe.

  • Assesses product and service needs and within and outside our value proposition for Enterprise clients. Provides input in the process of developing relevant solutions that answer client needs;
  • Maintains client file by filing all relevant documentation;
  • Processes provisioning through the Sales Support, for products and services for client’s portfolio;
  • Conduct education sessions for clients on portfolio to ensure that clients understand and optimize the use of new solutions;
  • Interacts regularly with clients and partners to ensure that a high level on-going technical support post implementation of solutions and the resolution of billing and other issues that may arise within agreed SLA. Escalates issues beyond their authority to resolve to ensure that products and services continue to meet client expectations;
  • Monitors competitor products, services and activities across Segment and identify capability and Technology partners that will bring capabilities and solutions that fit the gaps while ensuring the positive impact of such activities within MTNZ policy;
  • Develops and maintains good business relationships with clients and partners which enables us to resolve client challenges, enhance goodwill and loyalty and increase the chances of additional business quickly and amicably;
  • Deliver on agreed Sales targets;
  • Drive sales through the Indirect channels to ensure optimization of returns from respective channels and sales agents;
  • Continuous monitoring of sales agent’s performance based on agreed targetand service standards and ensure to keep all agents accountable through predicable agreed reports;
  • Applies MTN Enterprise policies and principles appropriately in all acquisition and retention activities;
  • Ensure that client meet their payment obligations on a timely basis. Ensures, in liaison with the Credit team, that all accounts in their area are sitting within the allowable credit period;
  • Stays abreast of developments in areas of expertise and performs to the highest ethical and professional standards;
  • Carries out any related duties that will enhance the mission of the job;
  • Grow revenue portfolio through cross sell and upsell;
  • Innovate improved processes for customer relationship management and generation of revenues;
  • Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
  • Degree in Business/Marketing.
  • 2 years’ experience in a sales environment, at least 1 Experience in Telecommunications
  • Knowledge of GSM, ISP Environment and Converging technologies.
  • Knowledge of MTN products and Services.
  • Understanding of various corporate requirements
  • Code B driver’s license.
