Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher at the International School of Lusaka located in Lusaka, Zambia. The EAL Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans and teaching English to non-native speakers. This role may involve teaching different levels of proficiency and ages.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching English as an Additional Language
- Demonstrated ability to create effective lesson plans
- Education degree, teaching certification or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds
- Flexibility and ability to work well in a team and independently
- Experience in a multicultural environment is a plus
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
