Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Carrier Manager at ILEYS LOGISTICS & TRANSPORT LIMITED located in Ndola. The Carrier Manager will be responsible for managing carrier relationships, negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient transportation operations. preparing shipping documents, tracking a cargo, and ensuring that all legal requirements and regulations are met. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in carrier management or logistics
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- Valid driver’s license
