Job Description
PURPOSE
The Clerk, Optimization II will be responsible for capturing and recording field data during operations. They are required to organize data in a presentable form to be used in management decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and use them for capturing quantities and providing acceptable work descriptions
- Preparing, compiling and sorting documents from clerks, and enter data into pronto for machine and labor costing.
- Verifying data from clerks and making corrections where relevant.
- Filling and storing documents in designated locations.
- Responding to requests for information and access to relevant files as and when required.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
- Ensure daily dairies and machine checklists are submitted daily.
- Any other duties as instructed by the Supervisor
Qualifications
- Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or equivalent
- Certificate in Quantity Surveying/any Business Related Discipline will be an added advantage
Experience
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in construction and/or mining
